With your rock, you’re able to cut down trees to gather wood and smash boulders to harvest rocks. It’s a mechanic that we’ve seen in most survival games but I actually like the way it’s done here more so than in other titles. You’ll have to manage your health, hunger, and thirst in order to survive, but the elements too can have an impact on your character. You spawn with nothing but a rock and a torch and from there, you’re left to your own devices. Rust: Console Edition drops players into a post-apocalyptic world. The majority of my gripes with the game are part of the actual gameplay and led me to feel disinterested in the game at all. I quite like that idea in theory but I have some issues with how they actually executed it.
RUST CONSOLE PC
This version will follow its own roadmap and ties different aspects into itself apart from the PC version. It is a port but not in the traditional sense. Double Eleven has marketed this game as its own standalone version of Rust that at its core has the same mechanics as the OG version. Hope you all enjoy it! The aim of adding Tech Trees is to bring the game more in-line with the core Rust experience by removing the random system we had up until now to unlock new Blueprints. You will still be able to research items from the Research Table as you could before, so there are now multiple paths of progression. You can always try your luck on the Bandit Camp spinning wheel for some extra scrap, but don’t forget, the house always wins…
Do you prefer to build and fortify your base? Unlock defenses and traps to confound your enemies! Or do you prefer the more direct approach? Then unlock guns and ammo to eliminate your competition more efficiently!Įvery item has its own tier, so you’ll need to collect more scrap and build a higher tiered workbench to unlock more end-game items. From here, you can use scrap to unlock different branches of items depending on your playstyle. Collect scrap from around the map and construct a workbench in order to access the Tier 1 Tech Tree.
No longer will you have to rely on spending your scrap on a random tiered blueprint at the workbench – you can now unlock the items you need the most.
The Tech Trees fundamentally change the way players progress in Rust Console Edition.
